“I feel honored to get to work on behalf of the Hispanic/Latino community of Price Hill with Bloc Ministries and I am so optimistic about reaching out to the entire city of Cincinnati and more.”
- Walter Vasquez, Director of Hispanic/Latino Outreach
We are a Tuesday after-school program, located in Lower Price Hill, Girls Wanted is a ministry that was born out of our Weightless Anchor program. We saw a need for early intervention and a safe space for these young teen girls to go to for positive relationships. Our weekly meetings involve sharing a meal, playing games and having good discussions which in turn lead to the girls knowing they are loved and valued.
We are open Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. During that time you will be asked to support Girls Wanted with facilitating games, dinner, drive girls to and from programming, available for extracurricular activities and have conversations to offer Godly advice. We also have a leaders meeting once a month to assist with team growth. Let us know if you are still interested and available during those times to help out.
