Women's Jail Ministry

Offering Hope, Support, and a Path to Redemption

BLOC’s Women’s Jail Ministry serves incarcerated women, many of whom have faced addiction, trafficking, and deep cycles of trauma. Through mentorship, court support, and spiritual guidance, our team walks alongside these women, offering them hope for a transformed future.

Why It Matters
For many women, jail provides a rare moment of clarity—a time when they are free from addiction, abuse, and the daily fight for survival. BLOC steps into this critical moment, offering encouragement and resources to help women see that redemption is possible.

What We Do

  • Pastoral Visits & Mentorship: BLOC staff and volunteers visit incarcerated women, providing one-on-one support, prayer, and encouragement.
  • Court Advocacy & Intervention: We work with local judges and courts to advocate for rehabilitation programs over extended jail sentences, whenever possible.
  • Bibles & Devotionals: Women receive Scripture-based materials, allowing them to deepen their faith while incarcerated.
  • Transition Support: For those who choose a new path, we help facilitate next steps into safe housing, recovery programs, and job training.

A Pathway to Healing
Through strong relationships with the judicial system, BLOC helps move women from incarceration to redemption. Many women in our jail ministry transition into our Redeemed Home, where they receive long-term care, addiction recovery, and job training.

Breaking the Cycle
The vast majority of incarcerated women have experienced addiction, trafficking, or abuse. BLOC’s Women’s Jail Ministry exists to break these cycles—offering not just temporary relief, but true transformation. Through mentorship, faith, and community, we help women move beyond their past and into a future filled with purpose and hope.
